October 11th, 12-1 pm at North Campus Building, Room 293 — Join PLGer Alan Kilpatrick for his talk “Access Copyright: What Does it Mean for Western? A Librarian’s Guide” to hear about this important issue regarding access to information.

October 13th, 12 pm at East Village Coffee House (785 Dundas Rd. E) — PLG Coffee Crawl. Come chat about issues, ideas, library school, or anything else on your mind!

October 17th, 12-1 pm at North Campus Building, Room 295 North Campus Building — Library and Archives Canada round table talk. Come join us to learn about the cuts to LAC, how it will impact you, and what you can do.

October 26th, 7 pm at Chaucer’s Pub (122 Carling St.) — PLG Pub Night. Come chat about issues, ideas, library school, or anything else on your mind. And enjoy delicious beer while you are at it.

October 31st, 1:30 pm at the Kresge Building, Room 106 — Sam Trosow & Joanna Kerr will reprise their talk “Library Schools and the Future of Librarianship” from the CAUT (Canadian Association of University Teachers) Conference.
